Company
One company, one philosophy.
The factor which allows companies to advance, are the ideas. New ideas for improvement and progress. Ideas for providing solutions, for resolving problems, for making progress.
These were the convictions why Serigrafía Alava S.A., was founded in 1978, from which TECTRON was created.
Since its foundation Serigrafía Alava S.A., has offered a different way of doing business, that of constant advancement. Based on a will to offer the market the most reliable products with the most up-to-date technology which satisfy our client’s needs.
Our work is based on these criteria and on the proven capacity for doing things and doing them well.
By means of this catalogue, Serigrafía Alava S.A., wishes to introduce its products, its philosophy and its company, to those who already know us and those who do not.
The TECTRON membrane switch is born.
Between 1981 and 1982, the firm General Electric, S.A., was looking for appliers for a new product which has been launched onto the market. The product itself was registered with the name of LEXAN, a polycarbonate intended for the manufacture of membrane keyboards and panels.
After selecting a number of possible appliers of this material with the necessary professional standing, General Electric, S.A., proposed this idea to Serigrafía Alava S.A., which accepted the challenge.
Courses were doing in Western Germany on the technology and manufacture of keyboards and in May 1982, the first tests with new product were successfully carried out.
It was at that time that Serigrafía Alava S.A. created the TECTRON trademark for membrane keyboards an panels, and in July 1982 obtained the first order from the firm ITT Española.
From that date onwards, Serigrafía Alava S.A., has been changing to improve the different components of membrane keyboards, production system and machinery, to obtain the most reliable keyboards with the most up-to-date technology on the market.
Our markets currently cover the whole of Spain and Europe including the Netherlands, France, Portugal and Germany.
